CNRS is the French National Centre for Scientific Research. It is a reference in the world of research and development, as well as for the general pubblic. The National Centre for Scientific Research is an interdisciplinary public research organisation under the administrative supervision of the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. The research fields spread from fundamental Physics, living matter and human societies. The principal mission is to increase knowledge for the benefit of society.

CNRS collaborates with École Normale Supérieure and Université Paris Diderot Paris 7 to carry on the activity related to the Qombs Project.
